1.) Through the [Monitor legal and technology environment and community needs] and then the [Preservation and accessibility risk assessment] process, the preservation institution is continuously monitoring risks related to ingesting, preserving and making information available. In addition to being executed regularly, the function may also be invoked by the event [Technology alert or other outside triggers].
2.) If the [Preservation and accessibility risk assessment] process detects a new risk, it triggers the function [Develop preservation and accessibility strategies and standards]. This function will ensure that preservation and accessibility strategies and standards are adjusted to meet acceptable risk levels. Once the function [Develop preservation and accessibility strategies and standards] has completed, it will trigger a sequence of functions to ensure that the new strategies and standard are deployed and put into action.
3.) As part of the Administration service, if required, preservation strategies are updated in the [Establish preservation and accessibility strategies and standards] function.
