If they cannot find it using the [Discovery function] but think that the archive is likely to have the required information, they can create a detailed metadata query. If they do not think this is the right archive, the process ends.
2.) The query is processed in the [Information access coordination function], and the query response is made accessible to the citizen through the [Provide Access process]. The citizen then uses this knowledge to formulate a Request for Information (RFI).
3.) The RFI is processed in the [Information access coordination function]. Results based on the RFI are retrieved and prepared. This also includes transforming the information so it is understandable to the citizen. The transformed response to the RFI is made accessible to the citizen through the [Provide Access process]. The entire process is fully automated.
4.) The query is processed in the [Information access coordination function], and the query response is made accessible to the citizen through the [Provide Access process].
