The [Information manager] is [monitoring legal and technology environment and community needs] and is notified about changes in Designated Communities' new metadata practices and about a new metadata standard for next-generation information systems. 2.) As a result, the preservation and accessibility strategies must be updated and new infrastructure objects have to be developed. As a consequence the preservation plans have to be updated, too. 3.) In a follow-up step the corresponding metadata structures should be updated, by the [Administration] service, in the [Perform preservation action] function resulting in [Metadata updated] status.
