Stored archival information (AIP) can be updated through DIP dissemination, update and resubmission as SIP. This event represents the reception of updated submission information (SIP) that resulted from a preservation action originating from the administration service. Administration provides updates by sending a dissemination (DIP) request to Access, updating the resulting dissemination information’s contents, and resubmitting them as submission information to Ingest.
